Vision for Summer Youth Festival – The Youth Festival is now scheduled for Sept. 1-4, 2006. All the activities previously scheduled will be performed.

Here are the updates on the Youth Festival.

We are inviting all Churches, bands, youth groups, Christians to an Open Air Service on Sunday, Sept 3, at 6pm. Each Church or organization is being asked to minister in song, scripture, exhortation… A 10 minute slot.

Remember to have your youth practice for performances at the festival. Encourage them to invite other youth who do not attend church to join the rehearsals. A good way to fill up the youth group.

When the festival is gone and forgotten, the seeds planted in those who took time to study the Bible Quiz will grow into fruitful trees for eternal life. We have Raffle Tickets to assist in the expenses for the festival. 3 Day Cruise to Nassau, Bahamas aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. Tickets cost $10. Please let me know how I can get the tickets to you.

We will continue to pray, for we will take this Land for the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

As we minister on Cape Cod we note that the Youth around us seem to lack interesting activities that opens their awareness, sets the tone for purpose, and evolves to fulfillment.

We have taken the challenge and created the Summer Youth Festival.

We are inviting Churches to host a drama team, or a dance team – any area of the performing arts – and have their youth invite kids that do not attend Church to be a part of the performance. Performances will be held during the entire festival. Churches will have a free booth to display brochures, or religious articles that are free to the public.

The Bible Quiz will help to sharpen retention skills, instill a sense of sound morality, and give our Youth a clear picture of the heart of our Father God. Teams of contestants will vie for the coveted bragging rights to prove they know the Bible, and of course, a cool Five Hundred Dollars. Bible Quiz will be held on Saturday.

Our Fashion Show will model vintage clothing, evening wear, baby’s outfits, tuxedos. Our models are trained amateurs, some from the “Gothic Background” others from the Church, and those who do not go Church. Our Models will grace the stage on Monday.

The Talent Show is geared for those who’s got the stuff. Thursday Night will crown the winner and a prize of a portable DVD Player is still in the works.

Papa San, a Jamaican Christian Reggae Artist will be the highlight of the Concert performance. After rising to fame as an international Reggae artist, Papa San responded to the call of God on his life and now ministers the good news of Christ around the world with a true reggae sound. Everybody should come to see Papa San. You do not want to hear about all the excitement at the grocery store next day, when you had an opportunity to experience it first hand. Inquiries have been coming from as far as the State of Maine about Papa San’s visit. It is like a five-star theatre performance with musical bliss that leaves you breathless. See the Great Benafuchi – real live acrobat in action. Truly a family affair.

Businesses and Food Vendors are encouraged to sign up to acquire your space. A vendor form can be submitted from this site. There is the capacity for a crowd of 3000 persons. Arts and Crafts Spaces can be 10×10 or 10×15. Bring your tables and set-up equipment. Food vendors need to bring entire set-up operation. Water and a tent cover will be provided. No security is provided for overnight equipment.

The Carnival with its rides and slides, merry-go-round, sky needle and more will be at the festival too. Tickets for the carnival are sold at their booth. Never a dull moment.

FREE ADMISSION. That is the price for this Youth Festival.
